100% of MBA students placed; 61 offers received

NEW DELHI: 100% of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) MBA students Kanpur students have been placed in internships done for the 2020-22 outgoing batch. 55 MBA students received a total of 61 offers from 35 companies as well as 11 pre-placement offers (PPO).
IIT Kanpur recorded an average fee to CTC ratio of 1:9. The MBA program also recorded an average year-over-year (YoY) CTC growth of 22.54%, beating all its previous records.

37% of the lot was placed in analytics, 24% in IT or consulting, 20% in marketing, 11% in finance and 8% in operations respectively.
Recruiters from various industries participated in the placement campaign, including Accenture Strategy, Morgan Stanley, Barclays, Axtria, Tiger Analytics, Juspay, IBM, Wells Fargo, Flipkart, Deloitte, Mastercard, Infosys, Dell, Berger, Digit, etc. Some of the key roles offered to students were Technology Consultant, Product Manager, Senior Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, Supply Chain Manager, Associate Solution Advisor, Senior Data Analyst, etc.

The MBA program was incorporated into the IIT Kanpur ecosystem in 2001 under the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management (IME). MBA IIT Kanpur was ranked 16th in the NIRF India 2021 ranking for the management category. Over the years, MBA graduates from IIT Kanpur have joined government and corporate positions like Barclays, Tata Motors, Nomura, Amazon, CRISIL, Mu-Sigma, McKinsey, Reuters, HSBC, etc., says an official statement.
