31 new child support orders issued by J&K EPFO
Jammu Tawi, April 29: Pension is an important form of social security for employees and their family members in times of need and contingencies. The EPFO regional office, Jammu, initiated the pension claim process from the offices in Jammu and Kashmir itself.
To this end, the Bureau settled a total of 30 pension claims, including 27 pension claims in Jammu and 3 in Srinagar with an initial amount of arrears of Rs 15,14,118 and Rsb1,61,963 respectively in the month of April 2022 .
Pension claims have been settled in respect of (r/o) late Balbinder Singh – Sarla Devi (widow), Shikha Chib (daughter) and Neeraj Chib (son) with the amount of monthly pension being Rs. 1501/-, Rs. 375/- and Rs. 375. The pension claim was also settled in r/o Late Kamal Singh –Pushpa Devi (widow) with a monthly pension amount of Rs.1984/-. The pension claim was also settled in r/o Late Kuldeep Kumar (Ram Lal) Dependent Parent, monthly pension amount being Rs.1946/- who visited EPFO, Jammu today to collect the POP.
Another pension claim of the late Mohan Lal has been settled in favor of Bimla Kumari (widow), Sanjay Kumar (son) and Sahil Kumar (son), monthly pension amount being Rs.2451/-, Rs. 613 and RS. 613/- respectively. In all the above cases, pension arrears would also be paid to pensioners. Rashpal Singh, working as office superintendent at NHPC, Jammu also received his pension at EPFO, Jammu visiting the office in the afternoon and was delighted to receive his arrears (at the age of fifty-eight). His pension was set at Rs 3943/- per month.
The office has also handled pension claim cases in the r/o of Shiv Ram with the monthly pension being Rs. 4135/-, Joginder Singh with a monthly pension of Rs. 4030, Raj Kumar Koul with Rs. 4046/-, Sarita with Rs. 4021/- and 22 others.
