DHAMAN visits Sudanese Embassy in Kuwait
KUWAIT: The Health Assurance Hospitals Company (DHAMAN) paid a visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Sudan in Kuwait to discuss a number of topics of mutual interest. During the meeting, Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to Kuwait Abdulmonem Alamin expressed gratitude to Kuwait for its efforts to provide integrated health services to expatriates and all members of the population. While noting the role of DHAMAN in employing Sudanese health professionals, the Ambassador added that Sudan looks forward to playing a bigger role in the health sector.
Meanwhile, DHAMAN Acting CEO Dr Mohammad Al-Qenai said: This visit is part of our collaboration with various bodies including embassies to fully explain the role and goals of DHAMAN in order to ensure global alignment between all stakeholders, in particular the beneficiaries of the Company’s services. .
Qenai noted, âAs part of the continued application of global standards in the health sector, the company pays great attention to the overall alignment, accuracy and progress of the mobilization phase of transfer beneficiaries from the Ministry of Health (MoH) to DHAMAN. “
Throughout the visit, discussions focused on presenting DHAMAN as the first public-private partnership (PPP) in Kuwait and the first Gulf company to provide its services based on the care maintenance organization model. health system (HMO) by establishing an integrated health system that includes medical care. insurance programs, as well as the construction and operation of a network of primary health care centers and hospitals that cover all regions of Kuwait.
The visit was also attended by the Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy, ââDr Mohammed Ali, as well as the Acting Director of Medical Services of DHAMAN, Dr Fatema Bendhafari, the Director of Human Resources Ahmad Bourisli and the Director of communications and public relations Ali Al-Hamad.
