Karnataka Gramin Bank in agreement with Care Health Insurance
The Karnataka Gramin Bank (KGB), headquartered in Bellari, sponsored by Canara Bank, signed a memorandum of understanding with Care Health Insurance Ltd to market health insurance products for the bank’s clients in 22 districts of the Karnataka.
Quoting KGB Chairman Shreenath Joshi, a press release said the products would go a long way in creating a sense of security among customers in the current Covid pandemic situation.

He said this was a big step forward in ensuring clients’ hospitalization needs are met at an affordable price. The bank will focus on its rural clientele by covering as many people as possible, including farmers, artisans and the rural population under health insurance.
The bank is working on a tailor-made product suitable for farmers and Kisan credit card holders to address challenges arising from illness and hospitalization, through bundled products at affordable premiums, he said. .
