Phil Albinus Joins HRE as Technical Reporter

Seasoned Technical Writer and Editor Phil Albinus has joined the Human Resources team.
As a new HR technology editor for Human Resources Manager®, I feel like I’m in the catbird seat. I have been covering technology for homes and families and small businesses and large financials for 25 years. I have always been fascinated not by the technology itself but by what it can allow us to do with it.

After working for three years as an editor for two B2B benefit brands, I saw firsthand that this was an exciting and particularly good time for HR. HR professionals in corner offices have had to step up their efforts during this historic pandemic as the very definition of work, work balance, team building and collaboration has changed, perhaps for always. HR needed the latest tools to meet the needs of employees and their families as well as the expectations of the local office.
As an HR technical writer for EDH, I’m going to research the latest innovations that companies are using to hire workers, retain talent, and meet business needs in these changing times. i will cover the HR technologies conference®, Webinars on HR technologies as well as trends and analysis of all of what technology can bring to the HR table.
We won’t share the latest press releases like it’s the dawn of a new day. Instead, we’ll dig beyond self-promotion and ask if this solution has the potential to help HR managers do their jobs, and if other companies should consider embracing this new technology.
Please join me as we learn about the technology needs of the EDH public. You can email me at [email protected] and follow me on Twitter @PhilAlbinus.
Can’t wait to see what’s around the corner.
